Hi!! I am Amanda! I am originally from Houston, Texas. After living in Austin for a while, I relocated to Chicago after attending Riot Fest in 2013! I fell in love with the city and moved a few months later not knowing a single person here. In 2016, I met my now husband also because of Riot Fest! I am now living my wildest dreams creating beautiful hair and getting to hang out with my amazing clientele 🙂

I have 16 years behind the chair experience. Creating natural blondes, natural reds, rich browns, bobs, detailed precision cuts, razor cuts, invisible layers and lived in color are my favorite things to do. I am very good with fine and fragile hair. I do not do short hair, pixie cuts or undercuts. No clippers. I do not do special occasion styles. I am well versed in correcting bad haircuts and color! I love keeping grey coverage clients out of the 4 week root retouch trap by utilizing various grey blending techniques. I am a Keratin Complex certified salon and do many of their keratin treatments.

At Blush I utilize Oligo for lightner and gloss, Ammonia and PPD free Oligo permanent color, framar foils, Keratin Complex brand treatments, Malibu for color removal.

I retail Olaplex, Moroccan Oil, Keratin complex, Wet Brush, Framar, and Color Wow.

Blush is a studio salon, by appointment only

Blush is a one-chair studio salon for an elevated luxury salon experience. I do not double book clients. You will have a private experience.
While at Blush you can enjoy a relaxing and quiet environment tailored to the mood that you wish to set. Feel free to bring work to get done, books to read, or good gossip to chat about. I love a good “Hair-apy” session and getting to know you better with each visit. I truly take pride in the connections I have with my guests. I have a variety of fun beverages, sparkling water, snacks and candy for you to enjoy while you process and relax. You will truly love the experience you have at Blush!
